Kid's Connect - School Year
The School Age Program is open during the hours of 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. The program is located at Hesston Elementary School at 300 E. Amos. Care is provided for children who are currently enrolled in a USD program - 4th grade.
Learning Engagement
Kid's Connect provides a safe and secure environment for the children after school. The staff at Kid's Connect aim to provide engaging activities for the children while they are in care. Every afternoon, weather permitting, the children spend time outside to play. The children are encouraged to solve problems and work out differences together, with the assistance of staff when needed. As a group, the children work on character building projects.
A Day at Kid's Connect
In the afternoons children come from their classrooms to the program. Snack is provided for the children. No outside food is allowed to be brought in. Children are offered different activities daily and given outside time to play, weather permitting.
